Every generation leaves something to the next-not only possessions, but knowledge, values, and the tools for flourishing. Since the dawn of humanity this has been enough to keep the chain of human continuity intact. Our responsibility is to ensure we are not the first generation to let that chain be broken. The future depends on what we choose to pass forward.
